More Views than Others on YouTube

I think it's not fair. Lot of people are more popular than others. They have a tendancy to get more views on YouTube because they know a lot of people. In Canada's Got Talent auditions, I have noticed that some people are very talented and unfortunately they don't have a lot of views. Why do some people have a lot of views and others don't? It does not make any sense. Is it because they are popular and they know a lot of people? I have noticed one person who just opened an account with Youtube for Canada's Got Talent audition. She sang acapella ... she was not exceptional. Whithin 3 days she received over 2,000 views just for one video!! She does not know how to introduce herself in a video and she did not have what it takes to be on a stage! I saw a lot of talented people who sang their original songs or played an instrument and they only received only 25 views!!! It does not make any sense!!
